Similar in format to the Flora of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, this comprehensive website provides detailed descriptions, distribution maps, and a few images of each North American species of Festuca, including those recently transferred to other genera.
Graminoids of Commanster, Belgium
Two websites with excellent images of Belgian grasses, sedges, and rushes, part of the Ecology of Commanster website by Jim Lindsey. Plants are organized according to scientific name, but common names are provided in English, French, Dutch, and German.
New Link: GrassBase – The Online World Grass Flora
A comprehensive website that included descriptions to all grass species in the world. Select from the lists of genera or species, or search by scientific name to access the descriptions; or use the online interactive key to identify an unknown grass.
Grass Manual on the Web
This companion website to the two Poaceae volumes of Flora of North America (FNA) and the Manual of Grasses of North America project, edited by Mary Barkworth, Intermountain Herbarium, Utah State Univ., is currently offline while it undergoes major changes. This link will be reactivated once the website is back online.
