Systematic Treatment of Fruit Types

Based on the 1994 publication of the same title by Richard W. Spjut, published in Memoirs of the New York Botanical Garden, vol. 70: 1-181. A new, more complex classification of fruits than the classification provided by Radford et al. (1974), below. Still being debated by the scientific community.
