Habitat: Site 510. Abandoned Mid-Canada Line radar Station 510, occupying a small inlier of Precambrian diabase-gabbro rock. Collection sites near base of outcrop on the humid, sheltered west and S-west faces in small boggy pockets and plateaus.
Notes: Intermediate in hairiness of lower leaf surfaces between A. polifolia and A. glaucophylla.
